Device-to-device transfer
clipboard-itda transfers text and images directly between Android phones and macOS or Windows computers that you approve.Clipboard content travels between connected devices and is not sent to or stored on Newer's licence server.
Information kept on your devices
Each device may keep its device identifier and name, pairing credentials, connection settings, diagnostic records and temporary in-transfer images in app-private storage.Authentication secrets are protected by Android Keystore or macOS Keychain on supported devices.
Permissions
Local network, nearby-device and Bluetooth permissions are used to find and connect to your computers.Notifications and the foreground service report connection and transfer status and finish a transfer while the screen is off.We do not collect location data or include advertising or analytics tools.
Licence-server records
Free users do not need to register a device with the licence server.When you use Premium or licensing features, the server processes random device identifiers, device names and platforms, connection and approval states, and the history of licence issue, activation, release and refused attempts.
Payment information
Google Play processes Android purchases, and PayPal processes macOS and Windows purchases.The server processes purchase tokens, order and transaction identifiers, the product, amount and order status to confirm purchases, enforce device limits, prevent duplicate payments and abuse, and handle refunds and support.Newer's server does not store card or bank-account numbers.
Retention
Advertising records are kept for six months; contract, cancellation, payment and supply records for five years; and consumer complaint and dispute records for three years.Other licence and security records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and prevent abuse, then deleted or de-identified.
Deletion, rights and contact
You can remove local information from a device by clearing app data, uninstalling the app or removing the device connection.Send requests to access, correct, delete or restrict server records to customer@newer.co.kr; records that must be retained by law are deleted when that period ends.The data controller is Newer, represented by Daehyun Kim, and the service is not directed at children.
